Obituary	Mrs. Vella Hanson Vella, wife of Fred C. Hanson, died at Plummer Memorial hospital at Dexter May 31, at the age of 35 years. She was born in St. Albans, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ross. She attended the public schools of St. Albans until she entered Corinna academy, graduating in the class of 1905. She taught school until her marriage with Mr. Hanson sixteen years ago, making their home in this town until about two years ago, when they moved to Pittsfield, where she had many friends as well as leaving a great many here in Ripley, who regret the early death of a highly esteemed friend and neighbor. She leaves beside her husband and two daughters, one brother, Chas. Ross, of this town, three sisters, Mrs. Estella Bragg of St. Albans, Mrs. Grace Cain of Corinna and Mrs. Mamie Bane of Dexter, also a large circle of distant relatives who mourn the loss of a highly respected and beloved by all.
