Obituary
Henry Mower The funeral services of the later Henry Mower took place at his resident on Highland avenue, Tuesday afternoon. Rev. F. Ernest Smith spoke words of comfort to the bereaved ones. Mr. Mower has been in poor health for some time, but has been confined to the bed for the past ten months, suffering from a complication of diseases, which tender care or medical aid could not overcome. He was born in this town and was a lifelong resident, living on a farm by the lake side a greater part of his life. He came to this village fifteen years ago, where he has made many friends who will miss his presence as he enjoyed his neighbors, friends and relatives social calls up until within a few days of his death, which came peacefully at the last. His age was 75 years, 10 months and 15 days. He was twice married, his first wife being Mary M. Field of Dexter. His present wife was Mrs. Pluma Dean Watson of Sebec, who is left to mourn the loss of kind husband, also two nephews, M. Fred Mower of Dover and Bert Bailey of this town, and two nieces, Mrs. Harry Densmore of Clifton, Calif. and Mrs. Angie Crawford of this town. The funeral was largely attended. Those from out of town were: Mrs. Sfa Small, Guilford; Mrs. Lewis Livermore, Sebec; Evelyn Lancaster, Mr. and Mrs. John Ames, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mower, Dover; Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Additon, C. E. Tripp, Ripley; Isaac Bates, Corinna. The bearers were: Nathan Daggett, Chas Parkman, Walter Gould and Wilbur Gerry.
