Obituary
W. O. Amazeen Funeral services for the late Wellington O. Amazeen of this town, whose death occurred Sunday night, were conducted from the home at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, Rev. George Currier officiating. The bearers were Messrs. Ernest Libby, Jefferson Morrison, Samuel Staples and Joseph Arnold. The remains were taken to Exeter for burial. The deceased, who has resided in this town for the past 16 years, was born in Exeter, May 8, 1846, and resided for many years near Exeter Corner where he was engaged in farming and in conducting a mill. He was the son of the late Henry and Betsey Amazeen and was the youngest of eight children. Amazeen's first wife was Mrs. Martha Blaisdell of District No. 10, and to this union was born one son, Joseph Amazeen, of this town, who survives. His second wife was Miss Annie Rackliffe of Newport whose death occurred eight years ago.
