Obituary	Elden E. Mitchell Elden Mitchell passed away at his home on Church street Wednesday morning, June 13, at the age of 68 years after several weeks' illness. He had been in failing health for several months but was able to be around until a few days ago he was taken worse. He suffered a great deal, although everything was done for his comfort. Mr. Mitchell was born in Shirley and came to Dexter a few years ago. He conducted a small grocery business, where he made many friends who extend sympathy to the bereaved family. He leaves to mourn their loss, a widow, three daughters, Mrs. Roy Thomas, Mrs. Fred Dore, Mildred Mitchell, and one son, Ralph Mitchell, also three grandchildren, besides other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at his late home on Church street Saturday forenoon at 10 o’clock. Miss Mildred Thomas of the Free Baptist church will officiate.
