Obituary	Melvina Spooner Fogg Melvina Spooner Fogg passed away March 16th, 1923 at her home. Mrs. Fogg was the last one of a family of ten, four boys and six girls, children of Deacon Cyrus and Ann Packard Bailey . She was born in Sangerville, August 19 th, 1840. She married Alvin B. Fogg, Nov. 27th, 1862, the ceremony being performed by Rev. R. S. Gerry. In December, 1869, they moved to the farm on the Dover road, where they lived over 53 years, or until March 10, 1922, when they moved to the present home. Two daughters were born to them. One, Etta M. Boynton is still living. There is a grandson, Alton Boynton. These with the aged husband have the sympathy of a large circle of friends and relatives in their loss. Though Mrs. Fogg was practically a shut-in and a semi-invalid for many years, she was beloved by all who knew her, especially so by the young people with whom she came in contact. A sincere and earnest Christian, she was for many years a member of the Methodist church here. She had a disposition of rare sweetness and bore years of suffering without a murmur. Funeral services were held at the home conducted by Rev. F. Ernest of the Methodist Episcopal church. Friends of Mrs. Harvey Adams, formerly of Dexter, but recently of O’Leary, P. E. I., will be sorry to learn of her death which occurred a few days ago at a hospital in Summerside, P. E. I., following a surgical operation. She leaves parents, husband, and two sisters, one being Mrs. Ernest Woodside of Dexter.
