Obituary
Joseph E. Coret Funeral services for the late Joseph Coret were conducted from St. Anne's Catholic church Monday morning. Rev. Fr. Timothy C. Maney, officiating. The bearers were his three sons-in-law, William McKenney, Mahill Goulette and Levi Dulac, and John Goulette. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb at Mount Pleasant cemetery. Mr. Coret died suddenly on Friday night after an illness of only a few days. For the past few years he had been rather extensively engaged in raising poultry for the market and had accumulated a large stock. Taken ill early in the week at his home where he lived all alone, he was found by his son-in-law, Mahile Goulette, in a critical condition and quickly removed to Mr. Goulette’s home where he passed away Friday night. Mr. Coret was 60 years of age and leaves three daughters, Mrs. Levi Dulac, Mrs. Mahile Goulette and Mrs. Eva. McKenney.
