Obituary	Almira B. Fish Mrs. Almira B. Fish was born in Dexter, May 30, 1840 and was married to Stephen D. Fish in her early womanhood. She passed to the higher life on the morning of Dec. 25, 1922, leaving one son, H. W. Fish, and one granddaughter, Helen W. Fish, to mourn their loss. Mrs. Fish was a lifelong resident of Dexter. A quiet, unassuming woman, going about her daily life steadfastly and courageously, she had made a host of friends who will miss her genuine humor and her true and earnest friendliness. Our town is a better place because of the life she lived among us. As long as health and strength permitted, she was quick to respond to the needs of the sick and sorrowing. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday forenoon, December 27, Rev. B. F. McIntire officiating, and the large number in attendance testified to the esteem in which she was held in this community.
