Obituary	George W. Gove The death of George W. Gove occurred Sunday evening, Dec. 31st at the home of his son, Fred E. Gove on Pleasant street at the advanced age of nearly 87 years, lacking but a few days of being 87. He was born in Corinth, and lived there some years, later going to Illinois, where he resided for many years. Returning East, he lived for a couple of years in Garland, where his wife died, since which time he has made his home with his son in Dexter. Mr. Gove was twice married and had five children by his first wife and one by the second, none of whom are now living except Fred E., with whom he made his home. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home conducted by Rev. C. D. Hazelton of the First Baptist church. The bearers were E. A. Shepherd, Walter Fish, W. D. Austin and L. J. Folsom. The remains were placed in the tomb pending burial in the spring in the family lot in Garland cemetery.
