Obituary	Maybelle Haines Call Funeral of Mrs. Call Funeral services of the late Mrs. Maybelle Haines Call were held from the First Universalist church Sunday morning, August 3, at 10 o'clock. Rev. Stanley Gates Spear of West Roxbury, Mass. officiated, assisted by Rev. William Garner of Dexter. Elwood H. Stevens, Rufus H. Tillson, Charles H. Ansell and Harold R Sampson acted as bearers. Many relatives and friends gathered at the services to pay their last respects to their dear one. The profusion of floral tributes were silent testimony of the high esteem in which: Mrs. Call was held by her relatives and many friends. Mrs. Call was born in Dexter February 12, 1896, the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Willis Haines of this town. Growing up from infancy, attending the local schools, graduating from the Dexter High school in the class of 1914, she made many friends, always kind and thoughtful of others, a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. Throughout her entire life Mrs. Call in her quiet,, unassuming manner made every one love her. She was united in marriage to Edwin Clifford Call in September, 1917, at Millbury, Mass. At that time Mr. Call was in the service and stationed at Camp Devens. Two children were born of this union, one who died in infancy and, the other small daughter Mary survives her mother. The deceased was a member of the Universalist church, Wassookeag Chapter, 0. E. S., Rebecca Weston Chapter, D. A. R., American Legion Auxiliary and the Boneka Club.
