Obituary	Allen Parker Fatal Runaway Accident A serious runaway accident occurred Monday morning when the harness of a dump cart team used in hauling light firewood from Eldridge Bros., broke and frightened the horse, the animal making a wild run from Woodchuck Alley down on to Church. At the corner the body of the cart made three revolutions, landing finally on the bank of the Abbott mill pond. Allen Parker, who was driving the team was seriously injured, suffering a badly fractured skull. Mr. Parker was immediately rushed to the Plummer Memorial hospital, where he passed away Tuesday forenoon. Mr. Parker was a native of Amherst, Nova Scotia, but had resided in Dexter for several years, being employed by Eldridge Bros. He resided at the Curtis House.
