Obituary	Mrs. Wm. Beleveau The many friends of Mrs. Wm. Beleveau will be sorry to learn of her death which occurred Wednesday evening at 9.45 o'clock at her home on Gould avenue. She had been in failing health for several months, the end coming after a week of more severe suffering. She was devoted to her family, a kind neighbor always ready to assist when needed, and will be greatly missed in the neighborhood as well as in the home. Mrs. Beleveau was born in West Waterville (now Oakland) 51 years ago, where she spent her earlier days. After her marriage to Mr. Beleveau she came to Dexter, where she has since resided. She leaves her husband, Wm. Beleveau; two sons, William, Jr. and Lorie; three sisters, Miss Rebecca Ellis and Mrs. Annie Whte of Oakland, Mrs. Martha Foster of Auburn; and one brother, Joseph Ellis, of Augusta, to mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at the home Saturday morning at 10 o’clock. From The Eastern Gazette of 7-31-1924, p.5: Funeral services for Mrs. William Beleveau were held from the home at 10 o'clock Saturday forenoon, Rev. C. D. Hazelton of the Baptist church officiating. The flowers were profuse and very beautiful, showing the esteem in which the deceased was held. The bearers were P. M. Libby, Wm. Nickerson, Herbert L. Johnson and E. E. Getchell. Interment was at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
