Obituary	Death of Mrs. W. E. Bolton The many friends of Mrs. William E. Bolton were much pained to hear of her death which occurred suddenly Friday forenoon after an illness of two weeks of heart trouble. Her age was nearly 75 years. Mrs. Bolton was born in Bluehill but had been a resident of this town for many years. Her first husband, Charles Davis, died many years ago and she married William Bolton. Mrs. Bolton was a woman of wonderful physical strength and endurance and she had a great fondness for the beauties of nature. She was kind and sympathetic and was especially fond of the children of the neighborhood. She was ever anxious for the welfare of the sick and needy and did everything possible to make life better and brighter for those about her. She is survived by her husband, William E. Bolton, and by eight children, Atwell S. Davis of Sangerville, Charles A. Davis of Bangor, Albert S. Davis of Pittsfield, Mrs. Mabel Gleason, Leslie Davis, William Bolton, Jr. and Mrs. Eva Tracy of Dexter. She also leaves grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral was held from the home on Centre street Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. D. P. Pelley of the Methodist church.
