Obituary
Virginia Ganeau The community was saddened Saturday by news of the death of Miss Virginia Ganeau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ganeau of this town, whose death occurred at the Plummer Memorial hospital after a week's illness with appendicitis. The deceased was 18 years of age, beloved by all who knew her. The family have the deep sympathy of the community. Miss Ganeau was talented musically, being a skilled violinist. Besides her parents, she is survived by a brother, Vencent Ganeau. Funeral services were conducted from St. Ann's Catholic church Tuesday morning. The services were largely attended by relatives and friends of the family, also by a large delegation of students from the High school, in which the deceased was a student. Several members of the faculty of the school were also present. Fr. T. C. Maney officiated. The pall bearers were Philip Clukey, Lewis Cook, Norris Bush, Maurice Dulac, George Cook and Bernard Mountain. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers from family and friends. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb at Mount Pleasant cemetery.
