Obituary	Mrs. I. B. Merrill Mrs. Mary A. Merrill, widow of Ithmar P. Merrill, died at her home on Grove street early Tuesday morning after a short illness, at the age of 81 years. Mrs. Merrill was born in Freedom and her maiden name was Miss Mary A. Toward. She moved to this town early in life and resided here 56 years in the same house in which she died. Mrs. Merrill was one of the oldest members of the Baptist church here in which she took an active interest for many years. She was a woman who held the esteem of a large circle of friends, who will extend deepest sympathy in their bereavement. She is survived by three children: Dr. E. D. Merrill and Mrs. Ralph W. Hughes of Dover-Foxcroft, and Mrs. C. F. D. Marsh of Dexter, two brothers, William of Antrim, N. H., and Horace J. Toward of Water-ville, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Young of Dexter. The funeral will be held at the Baptist church this afternoon at 2 o'clock.
