Obituary	Andrew J. Stevens The many friends of Andrew J., Stevens of this town will regret to learn of his death which occurred at his home in this town Sunday morning, following a long period of ill health. The deceased was born in Guilford March 21, 1860. Living in that town for many years until he came to Dexter, where he engaged in a confectionery, ice cream and lunch business in this town, later selling his business and accepting a position with the Dumbarton Woolen Co., until ill health forced him to retire. Mr. Stevens was of a genial disposition; and has many friends who regret his passing. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge at Guilford, and always active in the movements of the society. He is survived by his wife, Essie Stevens, one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Gilman, of Waterville, one son, Elwood Stevens, of this town and severa1 grandchildren. Funeral ser-vices were conducted from the home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and the K. of P. ritual was held under the direction of the Guilford lodge.
