Obituary	Mrs. Nellie Richards The many friends of Nellie (Reed) wife of Delmont Richards of this town were grieved to hear of her death, which occurred at the home on Water street early Monday morning. Mrs. Richards, who has been a great sufferer for many months, was born in Wellington June 16, 1889. She came to Dexter several years ago, and since coming here has made a host of friends, whose sympathy goes out to the family in their sorrow. She leaves her husband, whose tender love and care have done much to alleviate her sufferings during the past weeks, two daughters, Marion and Harriet, a son, Theodore, her mother, two brothers and four sisters besides a number of nieces and nephews. The funeral services were held at the First Baptist church, of which she was a devoted member. The Fidelity class, whose president she was for several years, attended in a body. The pastor, Rev. C. D. Hazelton, spoke words of comfort and sympathy. Mrs. Arnold and Mrs. Haseltine feelingly sang "Lead Kindly Light" and "Beyond the Vail." Then amid a profusion of the flowers, which she loved so well, she was laid at rest in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. E. M. L.
