Obituary	SAMUEL A. HUNT Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Crosby's Funeral Home for Samuel A. Hunt, 56, of the Pleasant Ridge road. Mr. Hunt died Thursday afternoon, Aug. 18, at a Portland hospital after a month's illness. Rev. Harold Wheeler of the Free Baptist church, officiated, and interment as at Riverside cemetery, Newport. He was born Jan. 1, 1893 at Grindstone, the son of Samuel and Laura Glidden Hunt. He was a member of Dexter Grange, holding the office of steward, and had also held other offices in this organization. Survivors are his wife, Hazel; his father, Samuel Hunt, Atkinson; his mother, Laura Conley of North Guilford; one brother, Alonzo Hunt, Freedom; one sister, Mrs. Laura Lemar, Corinna, three half brothers, John and William Conley, North Guilford and Charles of Monson; a half sister, Mrs. Ethel Lemar, Dresden Misss; three stepchildren, Harland and Carlyle Stackpole, Plymouth, Mrs. Barbara King, Newport; also nieces, and nephews.
