Obituary	MRS. MERTIE SEAVEY Funeral services for Mrs. Mertie Seavey, 75, widow of Melvin Seavey, were conducted Wednesday morning at the Crosby Funeral Home by the Rev. Samuel Bowman, pastor of the Dexter Methodist Church. Interment was at St. Albans. Mrs. Seavey died Saturday night, Aug. 27, at Willowcrest Home, Gardiner. She was born June 19, 1874, the daughter of Isaac and Diana (Grant) Shorey, and had spent most of her life in Dexter. Survivors are a brother, Irvin Shorey, Old Orchard; nieces and nephews.
