MRS. MATILDA CHABOT The funeral of Mrs. Matilda Chabot took place from St. Anne's Church Monday morning with a solemn requiem high Mass at which the Rev. C. J. Enright was celebrant; Fr. James Carey of St. Thomas' Church, Dover-Foxcroft, deacon; and the Rev. R. Marteneau, sub deacon. The bearers were two brothers of Mrs. Chabot, Clatus J. and Loren T. Clukey; and four brothers of Mr. Chabot, Louis, Paul, Philip and Joseph Chabot. Mrs. Chabot, 31, wife of Lionel J. Chabot, lower Main street, Dexter, died Friday morning at a Bangor hospital after being a patient there for two weeks. She had been ill for the past few months. Born in this town June 17, 1918, she was the daughter of Joseph and Violet (Goulette) Clukey. She had lived here the greater part of her life and attended the Dexter schools, except for a few years when the family lived in Skowhegan. Mrs. Chabot was a member of the Assumption Society and St. Anne's Sodality. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Loren and Girard; one daughter, Theresa; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Clukey; two brothers, Loren and Claytus Clukey; five sisters, Mrs. Adrienne Ambrose, Mrs. Laurette Nadeau, Mrs. Lunette Robichaud, all of Dexter; and Mrs. Faustina Lessard, Mrs. Leatrice Poirer, both of Skowhegan.
