Obituary
Dr. Elmer Weymouth Dr. Elmer Weymouth, for many years one of the best known dentists in this section, died Sunday morning, at the home of his big brother, Harry Weymouth, at the age of 54 years. The deceased was born in Corinna, a son of Joseph and Emily Weymouth. His early education was received in this town, where he resided practically all his life. After one year in Dexter high school he went to Maine Central Institute at Pittsfield, from which he graduated. His dental education was received at Baltimore Dental College. For 30 years, he practised in this town, establishing for himself a reputation as a skilled dental surgeon. Ill health compelled his retirement about three years ago. Dr. Weymouth was a member of Penobscot lodge, F. and A. M. of this town and of St. Johns Royal Arch Chapter. A short time ago he was made an honorary member of Penobscot lodge. He was also for many years a member of the Dexter club. Besides a widow, Mrs. Imogene Weymouth, the deceased is survived by two sons, Laurence Weymouth of Lompoc, Cal., Stanley Weymouth of Augusta and a daughter, Miss Louise Weymouth of this town. He is also survived by two brothers, Harry J. Weymouth of Dexter and Arthur P. Weymouth of Somerville, Mass., also one sister, Mrs. Frank Hamilton, of this town. Funeral services under Masonic auspices, were held from the Weymouth home on Free street at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
