Obituary
William B. Gilman The death of William B. Gilman, Dexter’s oldest resident, occurred yesterday afternoon at the home of his son, Addison Gilman, on Maple street, where he has been making his home for some years past. In spite of his advanced years, being 94 years and nine months of age at his death, he was active up to a few weeks ago. Mr. Gilman was born in Anson and for 45 years lived in Farmington and later, for 18 years in Madison. He and his wife, whose death occurred last Oct., came to Dexter ten years ago and for the most of the time have made their home here. He leaves one daughter, Mrs. J. S. Ham, of Glens Falls, N. Y., and two sons, Ruel I. and Addison P. of Dexter and three grandchildren, William A. Gilman of Plymouth, Mass, and Eugene and Harold Gilman of Dexter. Prayer service will be held at the home at 7.30 this evening. Funeral service and burial will be at Madison.
