Obituary	Mrs. Jerome Peters The many friends of Mrs. Catherine LeClair Peters, wife of Jerome Peters of this town were shocked and grieved to learn of her untimely death which occurred early Sunday morning at the Plummer Memorial hospital. Mrs. Peters was shopping on Satuday evening when stricken with a heart attack, which proved fatal. She was taken to the office of Dr. Edward Whalen and later to the hospital, where the end came. The deceased was born in Hope River, Prince Edward Island, 46 years ago. When a young woman she was united in marriage to Jerome Peters. For the past fifteen years she has made her home in this town, where she has made a wide circle of friends, who will regret her passing. She was active in St. Ann's Catholic church, of which she was a member, also of the Lady Maccabees, Woman's Christian Temperance Union and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Edward Pouliott Post of the American Legion. Besides her husband, Jerome Peters, of this town, she is survived by six children, Irving, Lucy, Leo, Louise and Catherine of this town and Frederick of New York, two sisters, Mrs. Arthur Chenette and Mrs. Arthur Bossiau both of Lynn, Mass., and three brothers, Benjamin LeClair of New York City, Arthur and Theodore of Lynn, Mass. The family have the heartfelt sympathy of their many friends in this community. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from St. Ann's church, Rev. T. C. Maney officiating. There was a large attendance of Lady Maccabees and the W. C. T. U. attended in a body. Those from out of town to attend the funeral were: Theodore LeClair and Mrs. Arthur Chenette of Lynn, Mass., and Mr. and Fred Ledger of Old Town.
