Obituary
Mrs. Amos A. Springall The many friends of Mrs. Carrie Springall, wife of Amos A. Springall, were shocked at her death which occurred at her home on Highland avenue Friday morning, following a short illness. Many friends of Mrs. Springall were unawares of her illness and her sudden passing is to many a matter of deep regret. She was a woman of sterling character. The deceased was a native of Providence, R. I., and was married to Mr. Springall in that city June 9, 1885, coming to this town to reside soon after her marriage. During her long residence in Dexter Mrs. Springall has made a wide circle of friends. The deceased was a member of the Woman's Literary club and other local organizations. She is survived by her husband, two sisters and one brother, Miss Annie H. Dustin of this town, Mrs. Sarah J. Stanley of Providence and E. T. Dustin, who is in Florida. Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon from the home on Highland avenue, Rev. William A. Garner of the First Universalist church officiating. The profusion of floral tributes showed the high esteem in which she was held by her many friends. The bearers were: William S. Gould, Harry E. Hale, Forrest Parsons and Wilbur C. Gerry.
