Obituary	CLARENCE D. ARNO Funeral services for Clarence D. Arno, 49, were held Tuesday afternoon at his home in North Dexter. The Rev. Harold Wheeler, pastor of the Free Baptist Church, officiated and interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mr. Arno died last Saturday night at a local hospital after being stricken suddenly ill at his home the previous Thursday. Born in Dexter, Aug. 23, 1898, he was the son of John and Inez (Bridge) Arno. He was a member of North Dexter Grange. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Mrs. Velma Smart of Orono; three sons, Clayton, of Virginia, Fred and Roland of Dexter; his mother, and two brothers, Glen of Dexter and John of Ripley. Bearers were Frank Gregory, William Arsenault, Alva Butler and Clarence Bates. The North Dexter Grange, of which he was a member, attended in a body and were in charge of commital service at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
