Obituary	Mrs. Elizabeth Russell The many friends of Mrs. Elizabeth Russell, widow of the late David Russell of this town, were grieved to learn of her death which took place Monday morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neal on Railroad avenue, after an illness of four weeks at which time she suffered a slight shock from which she gradually failed. Mrs. Russell was born in Calais, Me., Feb. 9, 1834, but has spent the greater part of a very useful and active life in this town, where she made many friends. Mrs. Neal with whom she has made her home for some time tenderly cared for her during the last illness and friends were ever ready to lighten her with cheer and comforts. She was the last Charter member of the H. F. Safford Relief Corps. Mrs. Russell is survived by one son, Fred Russell, of Springfield, Mass., several grandchildrn and one niece, Mrs. Mary Williams, of this town. Funeral services were conducted from the Free Baptist church Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. Annie Lee Ridgway officiating.
