Obituary	Thomas N. Clukey, 70, of this town familiarly known to many as "Uncle Tom", died Sunday evening at a Waterville hospital, where he had been a patient for one week. Mr. Clukey had been in failing health for several years. Born in Dexter Feb. 20, 1879, son of Peter and Sylvia (Baker) Clukey, he spent the greater part of his life here. A blacksmith by trade, he maintained a shop for several years at his home, 145 Main street. Mr. Clukey was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Survivors are his wife, Jennie (Gilbert) Clukey of Dexter; two brothers, Eddie and George, both of Sangerville; a foster sister, Mrs. Margaret Green of Dover-Foxcroft; several nieces and nephews. Solemn High Mass of Requiem was celebrated at St. Anne's Catholic Church Wednesday morning by Rev. C. J. Enright, Rev. Surette of Greenville, and, Rev. Lynch of Pittsfield. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
