Obituary	DOROTHY LAMBERT DEXTER - Dorothy Lambert, 85, died December 12, 1999 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born July 19, 1914 in Dexter, the daughter of Leo and Edith (Jaquith) Gordon. She graduated from N.H. Fay High School in Dexter, class of 1933. She was married to Edward L. Lambert, who predeceased her in 1988, for 53 years. She and her husband enjoyed fishing and trapping; she also loved playing scrabble whenever someone came to visit. One of the joys of her life were the years she and her husband lived in a log cabin on Spencer Mountain, while he was working for the forestry service as a fire warden. She is survived by a son, and his wife, Edward and Delores Lambert of Virginia; 2 daughters, Joy Rocray of Greenville and Mary and her husband Dana Spauling of Maryland; four brothers and their wives, Frank and Maxine Gordon of S. Portland; Donald and Hazel Gordon of Dexter; Frank Gordon of Orono; David and Mona Gordon of Garland; a sister and her husband Marjorie and James Welch of Maryland, 8 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Friends called December 14 at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services was December 15 at the funeral home Rev. Harold Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Rep---- Cemetery in Burlington.
