Obituary	MAURICE "TEDDY" PROVOST GARLAND - Maurice John Provost, 72, died July 23, 1996 at a Bangor hospital. He was born October 19, 1923, in Dexter the son of late Maurice Joseph and Ruth (O'Keefe) Provost. He attended Dexter schools and was a local housepainter with his father and brothers. He was an Army veteran, having served overseas during World War II. He enjoyed gardening, his family, and most of all, his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Nancy (White) Provost, a son Michael and his fiancee Jackie Neal, all of Garland; son Mark and his, fiancee Laurie Lieberman, and grandchildren, Lucas and Jessica, all of Ripley; a daughter Michelle and grandson Timothy of Garland; one brother, Richard Provost of Sangerville; three sisters, Gloria Ramsdell and Mona Gordon, both of Dexter, and Marlene Wiggins of Glenburn; many nieces, nephews and beloved dog Rex. He was predeceased by three brothers: Roy, Shirley and Clifford. Graveside committal services will be Monday, July 29 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, with Rev. Antonio Amato officiating.
