WILLLAM H. SEAVEY SOUTH HADLEY, MA - William H. Seavey, 77, of 14 Columbia St., MA, died Friday, October 11, 1996 in Agawam, MA. He was a retired consultant and plant superintendent for Sinclair Products in Holyoke, MA, prior to retiring in 1989. Born in Dexter, he attended local schools and learned machinist skills at the Fay-Scott Machine Building. He lived here for the past 45 years. He was Army veteran, serving in World War II. A member of the Holyoke Industrial Association, he was key man for Sinclair Company. He was past commander of the former American Legion in South Hadley, MA, and a 63-year Penobscot Lodge mason in Dexter. His wife, the former Margorie P. Greene, died in 1988. He leaves a son, Tyler W. of South Hadley, MA; two daughters, Susan A. Boulanger of Springfield, MA and Nancy H. Burbank of Feeding Hills, MA, a brother, Calvin W. of Newport; three sisters, Amber Hutchins and Myrtle Knowles both of Dexter, and Barbara Sanders of Canaan; a special friend, Mary Lolus of Chicopee; two grandsons; and several nephews and nieces. A private funeral and burial were held October 15 at Ryder Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Pioneer Valley, P.O. Box 9058, Springfield, MA 01102-9058.
