Obituary
Mrs. Annie Fish Funeral services for Mrs. Annie (LaFrance) Fish, 80, of Dexter, who was founder of the Sunshine Club (which is not affiliated in any way with the national organization) were held Sunday afternoon at the Crosby funeral home. The Rev. Theodore A. Webb, pastor of the First Universalist Church, officiated. Bearers were: William O. Allen, Nathan Bucknam, John Chandler, Conrad Olsen and Mildred G. Otto. Interment was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Mrs. Fish returned to her home here April 10 after three weeks' illness in a Bangor hospital. She died at her Church street home on Friday, April 22. The widow of Walter Fish, she was born Nov. 17, 1868. She had always been a resident of this town, and was a member of the Universalist Church. An only daughter, Miss Helen Fish, died about one year ago. Surviving are a cousin, Mrs. Mary Wilcox of Dexter, and several near relatives outside of Dexter.
