Obituary	ELIZABETH I. CLUKEY DEXTER - Elizabeth Irene Clukey, 73, died January 12, 1995 at a Dexter nursing home after a long illness. She was born January 8, 1922 at St. Albans the daughter of John and Margaret (Scott) Giles, Sr. She attended Garland schools and graduated from Old Orchard High School, Class of 1938. She was employed at Abbott Woolen Mill for 27 years, retiring due to failing health. She was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church and was a former member of the Daughters of Isabella. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roland Clukey of Dexter; 3 sons, Douglas Clukey of Somers, Connecticut; Roger Clukey of Dexter, and Gregory Clukey of Milford, CT; 2 daughters Jacqueline Sharpe of Windsor, CT and Jerilyn Wintle of Dexter; 2 brothers Gerald Giles of Saco, and John Giles, Jr. of Garland; one sister, Marguerite Ordway of Corinna; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Lucibelle. Friends called January 15 at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main Street, Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated January 16 at St. Anne's Church with Rev. Antonio Amato officiating. Spring interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Dexter Nursing Home, 64 Park Street, Dexter 04930. Donations may also be left at the funeral home.
