Obituary	ELFIE M. (BARROWS) GUPTILL DEXTER - Elfie M. Guptill, 79, died March 5, 1995 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born October 12, 1915 at Dexter the daughter of Elmer and Elise (Prescott) Barrows. She graduated from Dexter High School, Class of 1935, and attended business college in Bangor. She was a secretary at Judkins Insurance Agency in Dexter for many years, retiring in 1980. She was predeceased by her husband, George who died June 27, 1991. She is survived by several cousins and will be remembered by a dear friend, Gerald Dyer of Dexter. Friends called March 6, 1995 at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main Street, Dexter, where funeral services were held March 7, with Rev. John Ross, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dexter, officiating. Spring burial will be in the family lot, Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 346, Augusta, ME 04330.
