Obituary	NIAH R. DOWNS Dexter-Niah R. Downs, 82, died at his home on Liberty street Tuesday night followIng a short illness. Funeral services will be conducted, Friday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home at 3 o'clock. He was born in Plymouth, the son of the late Eratus and Elmyra Downs. Survivors are: one son, Winfred H. Davis of Carmel; five daughters, Miss Anna Downs, Mrs. Nettie Smith and Mrs. Esther Rockwell of Dexter, Mrs. Mazie Jordan of California and Mrs. Ruth Bartlett of Pittsfield; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Stuart ot Guilford; also 28 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
