Obituary	Mrs. Elmira Mitchell Mrs. Elmira Watson Mitchell, widow of the late Benjamin Mitchell, died last Thursday afternoon at the advanced age of 97 years. She has been in poor health for several years and has been confined to her bed for the past few months. The deceased was born in Cambridge, July 12, 1829 and lived in that town most of her life, coming to Dexter in recent years to reside with her daughter, Mrs. A. C. Phinney, who has tenderly cared for her at her home on Forest street. Besides her daughter, she is survived by a son, Preston Mitchell, of Needham Heights, Mass. Mrs. Mitchell has been a faithful member of the Baptist church since the age of 14 years, and was always a kind neighbor and friend. Prayers were said Saturday at 1.30 at the Phinney home in this town and funeral services were held Sunday at 3 P. M. at the Baptist church in Cambridge, Rev. T. E. Ham, an old friend and neighbor, officiating. Interment was in the family lot in Cambridge.
