Obituary	ALETHA E. STEVENS DEXTER - Aletha E. Stevens, 91, wife of the late Edward T. Stevens, died June 8, 1995 in Brewer after a short illness. She was born June 21, 1903 in Harmony, the daughter of Simond and Christina (Kenny) Ellis. She was a member of the Charleston Pentecostal Church and was a former resident of Exeter. She is survived by two daughters Marion Soroka and her husband, John of Gardiner, Mass. and Phyllis Wardwell and her husband, Herbert of Dexter; a son, Edward A and his wife, Beverly of Somesville; thirteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren. Graveside services were held June 10, 1995 at the North Newport Cemetery, with Rev. Ronald E. Libby officiating. Arrangements are by Thompson Funeral Home, east Corinth.
