Obituary	Victor R. Smith The death of Victor R. Smith, prominent business man of Dexter came yesterday afternoon at his home on Maple street, after an illness of several months duration. Mr. Smith was a native of the town of Franklin and for a number of years was engaged in business at Northeast Harbor, where he had a dry goods store. In 1914 he came to Dexter and bought the S. S. Ireland stock of dry goods and continued the business in the same location, at the same time operating the Northeast Harbor store. His summers were spent at the coast town and his winters here. About three yeas ago he became interested in the automobile business, establishing salesrooms in the Grange building for several well-known makes of cars. He had planned for a large expansion of this branch of his business before his failing health made it necessary for him to give up active participation in business affairs. He leaves, besides a wife, two children, Frances and Richard. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday and burial will be at Northeast Harbor.
