Obituary	CARLA J. MANN DEXTER - Carla Jean Mann, 41, died November 8, 1994 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. She was born December 8, 1952 at Skowhegan the daughter of George and Theresa (Bedard) Perkins. She was educated in Skowhegan, Canaan and Clinton schools. She lived her life as a woman of the Lord. She was known to her family, friends and church community as an honest, caring, pure, and faithful person, She loved Christian music and composed several songs. She was a member of the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle for many years. She had been employed as a housekeeper in the Dexter area prior to her retirement due to failing health. She is survived by her mother, Theresa Moore of Skowhegan, her husband Linwood A. Mann, Sr. of Dexter; one daughter Cynthia Giles of Dexter; a grand-daughter, Michaela of Dexter; 4 brothers, Jerry, Michael and Alden Perkins, all of Canaan; and Donald Perkins. of Skowhegan; 2 sisters, Sandra Perkins of Manchester, CT, and Brenda Bowley of Canaan; one half-brother, George Perkins of Burnham; one half-sister, Tammy Bingham of Solon; 7 step-children; 10 step- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her step-father, Ercell P. Moore in April, 1994. Friends called November 9 at the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle, comer of Main and Pleasant Streets, Dexter, where funeral services were held November 10 with Reverend Phyllis Webber officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Canaan. Those who wish may make donations in her memory to assist the family, in care of Mrs. Cynthia Giles, R.R. #2 Box 130, Dexter 04930.
