Obituary
Mrs. W. O. Bean Mrs. Sybil R. Bean, wife of Wesley O. Bean of Maple street in this town, passed away late Monday night, after a short illness. Funeral services were held this forenoon at 10 o'clock from the home, and the remains placed in the receiving tomb at Mt. Pleasant cemetery for the present, later taken to East Corinth, where they will be placed in the family lot. Rev. Clifford V. Cross of the local Congregational church officiated. The deceased, whose maiden name was Sybil Conforth Richardson, was born in Canaan Jan. 27, 1839, being 87 years of age. Leaving Canaan when a small child, she lived with her parents in Oakland for a time, then went to Augusta. She went to East Corinth to live at the time of her marriage, coming from there to Dexter in 1914. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Miss Maud Bean, who has faithfully cared for her many years, also three brothers, and two sisters: Charles Richardson of Bangor, William Richardson of Alaska and Ralph Richardson of California, Mrs. Arnold of Augusta, whose son John Arnold, is postmaster of the Capital city, and Mrs. Bacon of California.
