Obituary	LIVIA ABBOTT DEXTER - Livia Abbott, 77, passed away peacefully Oct. 6, 2000, at her Acadia Street residence. Born in Riga, Latvia, she immigrated to Canada after World War II. Livia settled in Dexter in 1971 after marrying George Abbott, who predeceased her in 1988. Livia published her (spiritual) autobiography "To Catch A Flowing River" on Sept. 7, 2000. She is survived by a sister, a cousin, son, stepson, daughter, and many cherished friends and grandchildren. A brief outdoor memorial service for close friends and family will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, by the Rev. Alec Craig in the garden of Gwen and Dean Thompson, 11 Acadia St. A reception will be immediately afterward.
