Obituary
Mrs. M. Louise Mudgett Mrs. M. Louise Mudgett, 77, died at her home on Free street, Monday afternoon, after a week's illness of bronchial pneumonia, although she had been in failing health for several years. She was born in Dexter, the daughter of Henry L. and Mary B. Wood and was married to David Mudgett of this town in 1888. Mr. Mudgett passed away in 1912. She was a member of the Church of the Messiah, the Sunshine club and of the Woman's Literary club, until ill health prevented her from being active in that organization. She is survived by her brother, H. Stanley Wood of Freeport and her sister, Mrs. Imogene Weymouth of this town, also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held this afternoon at two o'clock from the home with Rev. J. H. Bessom of the St. James' Episcopal church of Old Town officiating. The bearers were Nathan Daggett, Omar Carr, P. S. Plouff, and William Coughlin. Interment was at Mount Pleasant cemetery. Among those from out-of-town attending the services were H. Stanley Wood, who is spending the winter in Newton Center, Mass., Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Weymouth of Augusta, and Mrs. Ralph Thompson of Belfast.
