Obituary
Louise Gilbert The many friends of Louise Gilbert were saddened to learn of her death which occurred Tuesday morning at her home on Railroad avenue, after three weeks' illness with pneumonia. She was born in Jackman nineteen years ago, the daughter of Philip and Mary Gilbert. The family have resided in Dexter for the past fourteen years, and Miss Gilbert attended the public schools of this town. Her pleasing personality won for her many friends both in Dexter and Lewiston, where she has been employed. Besides her parents she is survived by five sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Estella Haskell, Mrs. Florida Stone, Mrs. Alida Groleau, Misses Germaine and Nathalie Gilbert, Leo, Roland and John Gilbert and several nephews an nieces, all of Dexter. Funeral services were held at St. Ann's Catholic church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock with Rev. Fr. C. J. Enright officiating. The bearers were Mervin Haskell, Albert Stone, Herbert Groleau and Norman Pease. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers. Among those from out-of-town attending the services were Mrs. Georgiana Stewart and Norman Pease of Jackman and Ralph Gilbert of Lewiston.
