Obituary	Miss Helena Blethen Miss Helena Blethen, daughter of Mrs. Dora Blethen, and the late Ralph C. Blethen of this town, died Thursday, Jan. 28, in New York City, where she had been engaged in Social Service work. Miss Blethen was a member of the First Universalist church of Dexter. She was graduated from N. H. Fay High school, class of 1923, and later from Boston University and received her Masters degree from Columbia University. She was a teacher of Spanish and English, having a posi- tion in Puerto Rico, at the time of the big cyclone, which cut off all communication from the outside world for many days. More recently she has been active in Social Service work. During the past summer she was visiting in Russia and Scandinavian countries. Funeral services were conducted at the home on Main street by the Rev. Kenneth R. Hutchinson, Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The bearers were all members of her class of 1923: Bernard and Francis Pooler, Earl Ellms and Donald Champeon. Miss Blethen was 32 years of age.
