Obituary
Albion C. Phinney Funeral services for Albion C. Phinney, who died Thursday night, were held at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon with Rev. Roy Dalzell officiating. The bearers were Fred Jewett, J. H. Grant, Stanley Field and Al Lyford. He was born in Corinna 77 years ago, the son of the late Hiram and Abbie Phinney, and came to Dexter when he was a small child. For many years, Mr. Phinney was employed as a machinist at Fay and Scott machine shop and later worked in the woolen mills in this town. He was an active member of the Methodist church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Celenia Phinney; a son, Marshall Phinney, both of this town; a brother, Harland of St. Albans; and a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Brag, of Clifton.
