Obituary	Ridgley C. Clark Word was received Tuesday of the sudden death of Ridgley Colfax Clark at his home in Seymour, Conn. He was born in Dexter in August 1882, the youngest son of Edward W. and Vesta Staples Clark. He graduated from Dexter High school; from Bowdoin college in 1908, where he received an A. B. Degree; attended Harvard Summer school in 1925; New York University Summer school in 1927; and received a M. A. degree at Yale University in 1929. He has been superintendent of schools in Seymour, Conn., since 1917. Mr. Clark contributed to the Journal of Education, the American School Board Journal and was author of "As Is a Principal," "The Teacher's Meeting" and "Creative Supervision of the Teacher." He was a member of the Library Board and Pi Gamma Nu (National Social Science Honor So- ciety) and of the Seymour Connecticut Record. His name was listed in the 1935-36 edition of Who's Who in American Education. Surviving are his wife, the former Idella Hill of Conway, N. H.; three sons, Leonard H., David R., and Bruce H.
