Obituary
Miss Louise Crosby The many friends of Miss Louise Crosby will be sorry to know of her death which occurred Saturday at the Sanatarium in Fairfield where she had been for several weeks. The remains were brought Saturday night to Dexter for funeral services Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. Willis Crosby, Zion's Hill, with Rev. William J. Metz of the First Universalist church officiating. Miss Crosby was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harold Crosby. She was a graduate nurse, having received her training at the Rochester General hospital in Rochester, N. Y. and later serving as nurse in Rochester for several years. She was recognized by the medical profession as an efficient, dependable and capable nurse and handled many difficult cases. A loyal friend, who endeared herself to her patients, she will be mourned by a wide circle of friends in Rochester. She has spent much time in Dexter where she has made herself beloved by all and her untimely passing is deeply regretted. There were many in attendance at the funeral and the profusion of lovely flowers bore silent testimony to the love and esteem of her many friends in Dexter and Rochester, N. Y. The bearers were Millard G. Otto, Almon R. Page, Charles S. Brewster and Marvin Salisbury. Burial was in Elmwood cemetery.
