Obituary	Mrs. Sarah McKenney The funeral services of Mrs. Sarah Wheelden McKenney were conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vida M. Hanson, where she had been tenderly cared for. She had been in failing health for over a year, but able to be around the house. At the last she was taken with that dreadful disease, pneumonia only confined to her bed two days. Her sterling character, Christian life, and pleasing manner won friends with whom she came in contact. She will be greatly missed in this com- munity and Corinna, where she had lived. She has passed to a higher life, but her deeds of kindness live on. Always mindful of others, giving her aid whenever needed in her earlier life. Having moved with her husband the late Fred Bemis McKenney, to Dexter some 16 years ago, living in Corinna some of the time during that 16 years. The Rev. Elijah Mercer spoke words of comfort to the bereaved ones. The lovely floral offerings showed the esteem in which she was held. She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter, Mrs. Vida M. Hanson, with whom she had made her home for the past year, four sons, Clarence, George, Walter and Emerson, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Nathaniel and Henry Wheelden, beside nieces and nephews. The remains were placed in the Mount Pleasant receiv- ing vault until spring, when interment will be in the family lot beside her husband in the Nutter cemetery in Corinna. The four sons were the bearers.
