Obituary	Mrs. William Hilton The many friends of Mrs. Laura Hilton, wife of William Hilton, will be sorry to learn of her death, which occurred at her home on Spring street Saturday night at 10 o'clock, following an illness of about a week with pneumonia. The deceased was born in Brighton, Jan. 9, 1859, the daughter of Joel and Clinena Smith. For many years she resided in Greenville, going there immediately following her marriage. Fourteen years ago the family moved to this town, where they have since made their home. She is survived, besides her husband, by five daughters, Miss Laura Hilton, Mrs. Della Prescott and Mrs. Florence Brown, of Dexter; Mrs. Etta Bruce of Newport and Mrs. Hattie Abbott of Stetson, and by one son, Chester Hilton, of Dexter, by two sisters, Mrs. Walter Taylor, of Dexter, and Mrs. David Cotier, of Greenville, and by three brothers, James H. Smith, of California; Walter E. Smith, of Dexter, and Sewall Smith, of Greenville. Private funeral services were conducted from the home on Spring street Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock and interment was in Stetson. The family have the deep sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement.
