Obituary	Miss Gertrude M. Knox, 67, died Monday morning at the local hospital after a prolonged illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Crosby's Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Wheeler, pastor of the Free Baptist Church, officiating. There was also a Rebekah service, Miss Knox having been a member of that organization for 4 years. Burial was in the Corinna Center cemetery. She was born in Corinna on March 31, 1881, the daughter of Lysander and Annie N. Knox. She had lived in Dexter for the past 38 years and was a member of Dexter Grange. Survivors are a brother, Maurice Knox, of Devon, Conn., a sister, Mrs. Bud Hayden, of Abbot; three nephews, and two nieces.
