Obituary
Fred S. Hoyt The many friends of Fred S. Hoyt were shocked to learn of his death which occurred Sunday morning at his home on Center street. Although Mr. Hoyt has been in failing health for the past three months, he was up and dressed until Saturday. He was born in Exeter, the son of Samuel and Cora Hoyt, but for 31 years he has been a resident of this town where he won many friends. He was a member of Plymouth Lodge, I 0. 0. F. and all branches of the order, Bedivere Lodge Knights of Pythias and the Modern Woodman of America. Besides his wife, Mrs. Annie Hoyt, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Audrey Hoyt Lombardi, and Miss Mariorie Hoyt, both of Dexter, his mother, Mrs. Cora Hoyt of Exeter, by one sister, Mrs. Edward Hayden, of Exeter and one brother, Clarence Hoyt, of Madison. The family have deep sympathy of their many friends in their bereavement. Funeral services were conducted from the home Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. J. L. Sanders of the Free Baptist church officiating.
