NINA GOULETTE BOLDUC DEXTER, Nina Goulette Bolduc, 77, beloved wife of Lawrence "Joe" Bolduc, and loving mother of four children died at home, December 17, 2000 with her husband at her side. She was born in Dexter June 22, 1923, the only child of Clifford T. and Bertha (Smith) Goulette. She was a resident of Dexter her entire life. She was a graduate of N.H. Fay High School and then continued her education, and graduated from Beal Business School in Bangor. In her younger years she worked at the Dexter Town Office as a Deputy Town Clerk. From there she went to work at Dexter High School as secretary to the principal, first atop Abbott Hill and in later years at the present Dexter Regional High School. She remained at that position for approximately 29 years. It was stated many times, remembers her daughter Jean, that Nina trained all the principals that passed through Dexter High School's halls. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and a talent for both piano and organ playing, She was very frequently requested for both singing and/or playing at weddings. Her organ at home also brought her many hours of enjoyment. She married Lawrence J. Bolduc on April 22, 1946. Together they supported their children in all their activities, both in public school and in college. When their children moved away, they continued to attend local sporting events, Nina selling tickets and Joe running the clock. Mrs. Bolduc volunteered many hours of her time to the Dexter Nursing Home while her father, Clifford, was a resident there. Mrs. Bolduc was a communicant of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Joe of Dexter; one son David Bolduc and his wife Beverly of Wolfboro, N.H.; three daughters, Jean Brennan and her husband, Dennis of Sanford, Gail Lawrence and her husband, Keith of Brunswick and Cindy Collins of Portland. Also surviving are grandchildren, Ian, Mimi, and Abbi of New Hampshire, Colleen and Kevin of Sanford, Amy and husband Kevin of Bath, Kathleen of Brunswick, and Angela of Portland. In addition she is also survived by two sisters in law, Flora Sands and her husband, Albert of Dover-Foxcroft, and Marilyn Bolduc of Dexter; a cousin, Elaine Smith of Minneola, Florida; nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral home, 61 Main St., Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Wednesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter with Rev. Raymond Morency officiating. Spring burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
